Recreational Results
Six medals were scooped by Colchester gymnasts at the regional recreational apparatus finals held at Ipswich.
All the honours came in the 13 plus age group.
Georgina Hill won silver medals on vault and beam; Alice Randell gained silver on both beam and floor; Mary Rose took bronze on bars and Laura Wilson bronze on the floor.
Other results in the age group were:
Georgina Hill 4th on bars and Natasha Bethall 5th and Natasha 7th on floor.
In the 8 - 10 age group, Rebecca Day finished 6th on beam and in the 11 - 12 section Charley Minter was 8th on bars.
Regional Out Of Age Results
Jessica Hill is the regional champion at level two age 12 - 13, after striking gold at the annual championships in Ipswich.
Laura Morgan took the silver medal in level two 14 plus while, at level four, Laura Bibby took silver and Any Smith, bronze.
Harriet Chiam just missed out on the gongs when she finished 4th at level three.
Isle of Man
The school's team of six came second in the annual team championships.
Congratulations to Charlotte Volf, Jessica Hill, Laura Morgan, Grace Knightbridge, Charlotte Howarth and Jenny Schadek.
Grace won the award for the best gymnast.
Apparatus finals saw Grace win gold on bars and vault while Jenny took bronze on the beam.
Inter Regional Teams
Grace Knightbridge and Jenny Schadek were part of the Eastern Region team in the annual championships at Newcastle. The team came 4th.
Inter County Teams
It was gold all the way for the School memebers representing Essex at this event.
Harriet Chaim was part of the winning level three team while Gemma Kirby and Emma Paveley were in the FIG squad.
WTC Challenge Cup
Four of our gymnasts competed against the best in the country at their relevant levels in this National Voluntary Contest held at Aldershot.
Jessica Hill, taking pat in her first national, finished an excellent fourth.
Charlotte Howarth was 18th, Gemma Kirby 21st and a limping Emma Paveley a brave 43rd after damaging her ankle in the warm up for her event.
